Highlighting the Problem

Highlighting the Problem is a secondary quest that can be started by examining the statue of a wizard in the Runecrafting Guild in Bramblemead Valley, on top of the cliffs directly north of the Temple Woods.

Walkthrough

The statue requires a password. The password is found in the Thishepen Kara vault, found at the base of the cliff near the guild, in a room which requires Windstep to reach. You do not need to complete the whole vault; you can simply go for the password, which is found at a glowing blue statue hidden on an elevated path to your right in a room of four giant rats. The password is pthentorok.

Upon returning to the statue and giving it the password, a mysterious voice will talk to the player and give them a mysterious orb (uncharged). The player must then interact with three pedestals on the three towers surrounding the main tower in the guild. The player must use Windstep to reach the top of the towers, and can take advantage of surrounding rubble and other scenery.

After interacting with the three pedestals, the orb turns into the mysterious orb (charged), and the player must return to the first statue, which will then give the player the recipe for the staff of light, finishing the quest.
