Poison

article

Poison

Poison is a status effect that environments and monster attacks can cause. Poison can be cured and prevented with antipoison potions. It will also naturally recover over time, though this can be dangerous as it will deal roughly half the player's health bar during the process. Inflicted Poison will do either 3 damage/second or 4 damage/second, depending on the source.

The perks Antipoison, Antipoison II, and Fungal Fortitude help prevent Poison buildup from the environment and grant some resistance to poison-based attacks.

Sources

  • Monsters that can cause Poison status include putrid rat and garou druids. Velgar fires poison when the player is spotted during his random Patrols.
  • Poisonous environments can be found in the Bloodblight Swamp and the vault within the swamp. Generally, the entire region will cause Poison to build up and cause continuous poison damage unless otherwise prevented/cured with potions.
