Prayer is an upcoming skill that is scheduled to release later this year. It will be RuneScape: Dragonwilds' thirteenth skill and the fourth combat skill.
It is said to bring rituals, blessings and base empowerment, as well as the ability to build altars, make offerings, and channel effects that boost you and your base defences. You’ll bury bones, sacrifice relics, and recharge prayer points through ritual. Blessings boost your character and your base, with effects that grow stronger as you level up.
In order to start training this skill, you'll need to start an accompanying secondary tutorial quest.

Boosts

Levelling
See experience for a table of the experience required to reach each level.
Levelling up Prayer grants access to both passive benefits as well as unlocking spells and other abilities.

Trivia
- As of 15 May 2026, Jagex revealed that they were pushing Prayer to after the conclusion of Kuldra's Saga in December 2026 as they were pushing up the Agility skill to a month after the release of the Umbral Sands region.
