They seem strange without faces, don't they? Heralds of the spookiest of seasons, the humble pumpkin exists in two worlds, the world of the living and the world of the dead. When carved it acts as a ward against dangerous spirits and when mixed with spices and added to warm drinks, it acts as a lure for ex-girlfriends, distracting them as it gives you time to escape.
