The ash farming plot can be used to grow plants with seeds through the Farming skill. Ash farming plots must be placed on the ground without a roof overhead. In addition, ash farming plots have three stages of weeds that players must dig after setting an ash farming plot on the ground.

It is the best farming plot to plant the following:

• Redberry seeds
• Flax seeds
• Cabbage seeds
• Wheat seeds
• Marentill seeds
• Harralander seeds
• Potato seeds
