It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword, but there are multiple examples where this is proven false. A pen cannot stop another blade. It cannot slay a monster. It can write strongly worded letters, but when have they ever worked? The Moon Garou know the power of a good sword. They took the metal of the desert, with it’s green hue and unyielding nature and they turned it against the monsters of the sands. Beasts, great and powerful, fell to these weapons, entire legions of deadly creatures cut down in the dunes. Moon Garou poets carry a sword with them, because words can only cut so deep. For a lasting impression you need a very sharp edge.
