Journal
The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
Rune essence has the unique property of absorbing and transforming ambient magic into something than can be used by even races without a natural magic aptitude, like humans. An Air Rune contains anima that is aligned with the wind itself. A practitioner of magic can take the rune and convert it into a gentle breeze. Or, with enough of them, a gale force wind. Very popular in the summer months.
